Today marks National Stress Awareness Day which is a day dedicated to increasing public awareness and helping people to recognise, manage, and reduce stress in their personal and professional lives as well as the legal duties that employers have to mitigate stress. It is also the day we want to make official that we are now a fully pledged, long-term supporter of Mates in Mind, a charity focused on making it okay to talk and tackling mental health head-on.
As our work is predominantly based around the construction industry it was shocking to find out that the suicide rate among construction workers is already three times the national average for men.
This National Stress Awareness Day, we want to help raise awareness of the importance of reducing stress at work and what employers can do to help by sharing conversations we had with those working in construction.
What can we help you with?
